There are lots of different types of cocktails but all of them usually come from the same sort of drink and just have a little added extra. Here are some of our very extravagant cocktails for you to ponder at this summer.

Raven Slush

This is simply a slushy for alcohol; the cold ice on the alcoholic beverage makes it perfect for relaxing in the garden or for serving your employees at any outdoor social event. If is most certainly up there on our summer favourites list. Firstly you will need;

  • 1 cup of ice
  • 2 ounces of blueberry vodka
  • 1 juiced lemon
  • 2 ounces of agave nectar
  • Finally 1 quarter of a cup of blueberries.

Then you should get yourself a blender and simply add it all into the blender until you have the ice down to the consistency you want it. Too much mixing could make the ice melt so make sure you get your amount right, we recommend one minute but it all depends on the power of your blender.

The Crowd Surfer

This drink is for serving around 15 cocktails out of a big cup and is used for making high end fish bowls amongst other drinks. Firstly, make sure you can get all of the ingredients.

  • 10 ounces of vodka
  • 10 ounces of coconut rum
  • 6 ounces of blue curacaos liquor
  • 12 ounces of sweet and sour drink mix
  • 20 ounces of pineapple juice
  • 32 ounces of lemon-lime soda
  • Ice (enough to preference but we recommend 3 cups)
  • 3 lemons
  • 3 limes
  • 3 oranges

A large container to hold it all

Once all of this is ready pour it all into the container with the juices and non alcoholic beverages first and the alcoholic beverages after. Then put it in the fridge to cool down or even in the freezer if you’re short on time. Whilst this is cooling slice the lemons, limes and oranges into quarters and add into the drink. Once the drink is cool enough for your liking (minimum of ten minutes for flavours to take effect) you will be ready to serve it. Make sure you add ice to the glass before serving. It always best to enjoy this drink in the heat of the day.

El Paradiso

This cocktail brings the colours of the Mexican desert to the summer’s heat and sets it off with a bang. The El Paradiso is basically exactly what it says, a paradise. To make this cocktail you will need;

  • Ounce of cranberry vodka
  • Ounce of raspberry liqueur
  • Ounce of lemon juice
  • Ounce of lime juice
  • Half an ounce of Grenadine
  • Orange soda to preference (depends how much you like)

You will firstly need to mix all the alcohol, firstly get the raspberry and cranberry into a shaker and shake violently, then add your lime and lemon and shake it more. Finally add some ice to a cup and strain the mixture onto the ice. Then have a taste. Too strong? Give it that mystical orange feel by adding a little orange soda. Drizzle it on lightly and insert a straw. This will make the mixture start as a deep red and finish as a strong orange in the glass and looks amazing. A truly aesthetically pleasing beverage that will delight the masses.

Oceanic Marcelo’s Summer

This is a perfect cocktail for the people who love to be by the sea gazing out over the exotic horizon. The drink will be a deep blue at the bottom before changing through to light blue, aqua and coral green as you reach the top. Well worth a experiment just the able to have a ponder at this wonderful drink. You will need;

  • Half a shot of Blue Curacao
  • Half a shot of Peach Liquor
  • Half a Shot of Vodka
  • Lemon and Lime Soda (to preference)
  • a slice of lime to garnish

Firstly get your ingredients together in a shaker and mix with a bar spoons. This is because the soda will be very fizzy in this particular mixture and you don’t want it losing its fizzy nature. Then pour into a glass over some ice and make sure it hits the ice head on so that it has less of a reaction with the soda when the glass is full. Then you are ready to add a slice of lime and relax on the beach watching the waves go by.
